Odisha CM Mohan Majhi, Union Min Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurate Odisha stall at SEMICON India 2026

Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Sept 18, 2026 (ANI): Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Minister for Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated Odisha stall at SEMICON India 2026 in Bhubaneswar on Sept 18. “Our focus is on maximising investment and attracting more projects to Odisha's semiconductor sector. We secured two projects that were approved by the Cabinet, and are currently under construction. Additionally, following a roadshow, three MoUs were signed, and work on those has already commenced on the ground. In total, we have secured five projects so far, all of which are under construction. One of these projects has reached completion, and its inauguration is scheduled within the next month.…,” said Mohan Charan. “Odisha holds immense potential in the semiconductor sector. The rapid pace at which Odisha has advanced its projects has significantly boosted confidence among many stakeholders. The state possesses excellent talent, reliable power and water supplies, and a government that is working swiftly; I would like to thank the CM for personally monitoring and accelerating both these projects. Furthermore, three additional projects are underway with the Odisha government's support, and all investors have expressed their satisfaction.…,” said Ashwini Vaishnaw.
