Odisha fire department takes precautionary steps in view of possibility of cyclone

Bhubaneswar (Odisha), May 07 (ANI): Amid the possibility of a cyclonic storm over the South Andaman Sea and neighbouring South-East Bay of Bengal, as predicted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on May 06, Odisha Fire Services on May 07 took precautionary steps to counter the storm. Fire department has directed various units of 30 districts to stay on alert mode. The department also cancelled the leaves of employees in order to tackle the situation.
