One cyber fraudster arrested by Delhi Police

New Delhi, October 18(ANI): Delhi Police arrested one cyber fraudster namely Zalaluddin who used to cheat innocent people across the country. The accused was the kingpin of the Mewati gang who used to dupe money from people on the pretext of shopping. He was wanted in several cases in Delhi, Kurukshetra, Ambala and other states. Delhi Police had declared a 25,000 rupees reward on the arrest of the accused. Police were receiving many cases of cheating from Ambala. In this regard, the Police registered a case and the investigation was taken up. Under this, a police team got specific information and found the whereabouts of the accused at Firozpur Jhirka in Haryana. Acting on the intelligence, police conducted a raid and apprehended the accused. On sustained interrogation, the accused disclosed that he was running a whole cheat gang which was divided into three groups. The first group was providing fake SIM cards and mobile sets for calling while the second group was using fake credit cards for the transaction of money. Further, the third group was responsible for contacting and starting chatting with random people for shopping.
