Onions being sold at Rs 200/kg in Bengaluru, Ludhiana

Bengaluru/ Ludhiana (Punjab)/ Madurai (Tamil Nadu): Dec 08 (ANI): Onion prices continued to rise in many cities across the country. Onion prices have touched Rs 200 per kg in Bengaluru. Prices have increased rapidly in Bengaluru from 70 to 80 rupees per kilogram to 140 to 200 rupees per kilogram in several markets. People in Ludhiana are also facing the brunt of sky rocketing prices of onions. As a result, people are having tough time in managing their kitchen supplies.
