Op Sindoor anniversary: India Dominates “Precision strikes, iron shield”

May 06, 2026

Vienna (Austria), May 06 (ANI): In an interview, Austrian aerial warfare analyst and historian Tom Cooper assessed that India emerged as the clear military victor in the recent conflict with Pakistan. He noted that Indian forces carried out precise strikes deep inside Pakistani territory, targeting key terror camps and strategic bases once considered beyond reach. According to Cooper, India’s air defence systems neutralised over 95% of incoming Pakistani missiles, rockets, and UAVs, rendering retaliation ineffective. As Pakistan attempted escalation, India further degraded its air defences and air bases with targeted strikes. He said New Delhi’s actions sent a strong deterrent message, compelling Islamabad to seek external intervention.
