Orange alert issued in parts of Kerala

Kozhikode (Kerala), Jun 09 (ANI): Parts of Kozhikode in Kerala received heavy rainfall today after southwest monsoon made its onset in the coastal state on Saturday. India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange alert in the state of Kerala, stating that ‘widespread rainfalls with heavy to very heavy falls are expected at isolated spaces on June 9”. The conditions are likely to be the same till Thursday. Orange alert calls for staying prepared.
