Parliamentary panel meets under Congress’ Digvijay Singh chairmanship, debates NEET, NTA reforms

New Delhi, June 02, 2026(ANI): Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth & Sports met in EPHA under Congress MP Digvijay Singh’s chairmanship. Committee met to adopt 381st report on government action taken on 364th report regarding demands for grants (2025–26) of higher education department. Key agenda includes debate on pen-and-paper examinations versus Computer-Based Tests (CBT). Panel to deliberate on NEET and National Testing Agency (NTA) related concerns and reforms. Senior officials from Education, Health ministries, NTA, and medical representatives to present views before the committee.
