PM Modi hails Indo-Nepal relations

New Delhi, Apr 02 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nepalese Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba discussed various aspects of cooperation and reviewed the progress of various projects on April 02. “Both of us agree that we must reap the benefits of the opportunities for cooperation in the power sector. Our Joint Vision Statement on Power Cooperation will prove to be the blueprint of cooperation, in the future,” said PM Modi. Prime Minister Modi also informed that Indian companies will actively participate companies in Nepal's hydropower development projects. “I am delighted to announce that several more proposals for importing power from Nepal are being approved. I am happy that Nepal has become a member of the International Solar Alliance,” he added.
