PM Modi inaugurates Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala

Agartala (Tripura), Jan 04 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 04 inaugurated the New Integrated Terminal Building of Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport and launched key initiatives: Mukhyamantri Tripura Gram Samriddhi Yojana and Project Mission 100 of Vidyajyoti Schools in Agartala, Tripura. New Integrated Terminal Building of Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport, built at a cost of about Rs 450 crore, is a state of art building spread over 30,000 square meters having modern facilities and supported by the latest IT network-integrated system. Considering the climatic conditions, Airports Authority of India has procured four aerobridges for the terminal that will provide passengers weather-resistant access to aircraft. The replicas of the state’s key tourist attractions have also been installed in the building, which provide a peek into its rich cultural heritage.
