PoJK leader Mahmood Kashmiri slams Pakistan’s militarisation of illegally occupied region

Weaponisation of PoJK exposed The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir National Independence Alliance, Mahmood Kashmiri, has accused Pakistan of militarising Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He alleges that Pakistani troops have surrounded the region, taking control of major entry points, while weapons are being handed to civilians in Muzaffarabad and Rawalakot. Kashmiri warned that this dangerous move is aimed at crushing peaceful resistance. Linking the crisis to recent bloodshed in Muzaffarabad, he blamed Muslim Conference leader Sardar Ateeq for orchestrating violence that left two local soldiers dead and several injured. He demanded Ateeq’s immediate arrest.
