PoJK residents face floodwaters; officials absent amid crisis
Jul 30, 2025
Description: Muzaffarabad, PoJK, 30 July 2025:- Following recent heavy monsoon rains, the residents of Muzaffarabad's Bandi Mir Samdani in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir are facing severe difficulties due to massive waterlogging. The main road in the area is flooded with stagnant water, inundating shops and homes alike. This has disrupted daily life and caused widespread distress among shopkeepers and local residents. Despite the severity of the problem, local authorities have yet to take effective measures to address the situation. This ongoing neglect starkly exposes Pakistan’s failure to provide even the most basic civic amenities to the people of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
