UP Polls: BJP leader Sanjay Sinh casts vote in Amethi

Amethi (UP), Feb 27 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sanjay Sinh along with his wife Amita Singh on February 27 cast their votes in Amethi. He is contesting UP Polls from Amethi Constituency. Polling for the fifth phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections began at 7 am today. Addressing the mediapersons, he said, “Amethi has never been anyone's bastion, be it Gandhi’s or anyone else. It has always belonged to the people. This is war against oppressors." As many as 692 candidates are in the fray for 61 Assembly Constituencies. Elections in Uttar Pradesh are being held in seven phases and will conclude on March 7. The counting of votes in Uttar Pradesh will take place on March 10.
