UP Polls: Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray slams BJP govt over fake dreams

Feb 24, 2022

Siddharthnagar (UP), Feb 24 (ANI): Amid the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections, Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray on February 24 addressed a public rally at Domariaganj in Siddharthnagar district. He slammed the BJP-led government over the fake dreams and termed their promises as ‘jumla’. “All promises and dreams remained just dreams. They became 'jumla'. BJP only scared people. They say 'ye khtare mein hai, wo khatre mein hai'. But nobody can be in danger, it's Lord Ram's land,” he said. “We thought that development was going to happen in Uttar Pradesh. What kind of majority, like someone giving a majority to the king, the BJP got the same majority in Uttar Pradesh, but whatever dreams were shown, those dreams remained only dreams and became a ‘jumla’ of dreams. Dreams didn't come true,” he added.
