Prasar Bharati starts monthly concert series to promote musical activities in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 19 (ANI): Prasar Bharati started a monthly concert series to promote musical activities in Kashmir. Prasar Bharati took this wonderful decision for promotion of cultural activities especially the revival of traditional music. The first musical concert attracted music lovers at auditorium hall of AIR Srinagar. Prominent singers of the valley gave live performances. This concert will be organised every third Thursday with the aim to revive cultural music and provide a platform for singers. On the first show, there was a special female group that attracted the audience with a sufiyana musical performance. This initiative brought cheer and new hope to singers of the valley.
