Pre-I Day infiltration attempts of Pak successfully foiled: Northern Army Commander

Kupwara (Jammu and Kashmir), Aug 15 (ANI): The security forces in Jammu and Kashmir successfully foiled infiltration attempts along the Line of Control (LoC) by Pakistan in the days leading up to Independence Day, informed Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh, Commander of the Northern Army. “For the past few days, there have been attempts by Pakistan to push in infiltrators, such infiltration attempts have been supported by ceasefire violations. Indian Army is totally alert & we have been able to foil all such attempts,” he told ANI in Kupwara district along the LoC where he celebrated Independence Day with the troops posted there.
