President Kovind gives away Dronacharya Awards at Rashtrapati Bhavan

New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): President Ram Nath Kovind conferred National Sports Awards on the occasion of National Sports Day at Rashtrapati Bhavan on August 29. Dronacharya Awards were given to Sandeep Gupta for Table tennis and Vimal Kumar in badminton, Sanjay Bhardwaj in Cricket, Rambir Singh Khokar in Kabaddi and Merzban Patel in Hockey. The birth anniversary of hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand is celebrated as the National Sports Day.
