President, Prime Minister condole demise of CDS Gen Bipin Rawat

Coonoor (Tamil Nadu), Nov 08 (ANI): Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 others on board the IAF Mi-17V5 helicopter in Tamil Nadu, succumbed to their injuries on December 08. Numerous prominent politicians including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and President Kovind expressed their grief through social media. Rahul Gandhi also offered his condolences. The helicopter carrying 14 people, including Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and his wife, crashed in Coonoor of Tamil Nadu.
