New Delhi, Mar 02 (ANI): Celebrating 75 years of friendship between India and the Netherlands, Dutch Ambassador to India Marten Berg on March 02 said that Netherlands was one of the first countries to recognise Indian Independence. “We are proud to celebrate 75 years of friendship between India & the Netherlands. The Netherlands was one of the first countries to recognise Indian Independence. We have Dutch investment in India and there are Indian companies based in the Netherlands,” said Marten Berg. While reacting to the Ukraine crisis, the ambassador said, “We are facing uncertain times, it's horrible what is happening in Ukraine. We regret about Indian students and victims who lost their lives, our condolences to the family,” he added.
