Rajasthan is becoming model state in terms of road network

Jaipur (Rajasthan), July 18 (ANI): The Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan is undertaking massive road construction and renovation to strengthen the state's infrastructure. Under this, 2,083 out of 2,189 works of civic bodies have been completed in the year 2021-22, while 2,469 out of 3,368 road construction works have been completed in the year 2022-23. Tribal and desert areas with a population of more than 250 and other areas with a population of more than 350, as per the 2011 census are also being connected by roads. In urban areas, road construction works are being done after taking the opinion of public representatives and local people. The Ashok Gehlot government has done remarkable work during the last four and a half years to strengthen the road network in the state. From new gram panchayats to missing links, the construction of new roads in villages and cities is being done at a fast pace. As a result of this, Rajasthan has become a model state in terms of the road network.
