Rajasthan BJP releases urban body poll manifesto, CM Sharma lists key development promise

Jaipur (Rajasthan), September 2, 2026 (ANI): BJP released its Election Manifesto for Urban Local Body Elections 2026, with CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, BJP Rajasthan chief Madan Rathore and MP Ghanshyam Tiwari present. Sharma said the document covers 309 local bodies and highlighted plans to replace 3,000 km of sewerage lines, ensure 24-hour power, address pollution, expand housing benefits and develop tourist and religious sites. He claimed 78% of previous commitments have been fulfilled and accused Congress of delaying elections, corruption and appeasement, while highlighting his government’s development and employment initiatives.
