Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma participates in State-Level Farmer Event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana from Varanasi on August 02, providing crucial financial support to more than 9.7 crore farmers across the country. An amount of ₹20,500 crore was transferred directly to farmers’ accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. As part of this nationwide initiative, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma joined the event virtually from Banswara, where a state-level Farmer Honor Ceremony was organized. The Chief Minister distributed symbolic cheques to beneficiary farmers under several agricultural and allied schemes. During the ceremony, CM Sharma also handed over allocation letters for Saras Booths, Saras Mini Marts, and Public Distribution Centres (PDS) to various beneficiaries, further promoting local entrepreneurship and rural development. A large number of farmers attended the event in Banswara, marking it as a significant outreach towards agricultural empowerment and sustainable rural livelihoods in the state.
