Rajasthan govt to launch ‘Prashasan Gaon Ke Sang’ to redress rural grievances

Jaipur (Rajasthan) September 21 (ANI): Rajasthan government is set to launch its flagship 'Prashasan Gaon Ke Sang Abhiyan' scheme, under which a wide range of people’s grievances, especially of the rural population will be resolved on the spot. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot made the announcement while reviewing the preparations for the campaign, which is slated to be launched on 2nd October—the Gandhi Jayanti. The CM urged all departments to work in coordination in order to make the scheme a success. The CM also announced that there will be camps organised across the state during the campaign. The primary objective of these camps will be to include the eligible yet deprived people with the social security schemes of the state. Land allotment to the landless will also be a priority. The CM underscored different components of the scheme which includes resolving complaints related to electricity, water, roads and social security schemes on the spot. Gehlot also directed the officers to prioritize the problems of the elderly and differently-abled through a sensitive approach.
