Rath Yatra 2026 concludes with devotion, discipline and strong governance

Bhubaneswar [india], August 12 (ANI): Ratha Yatra 2026 successfully concluded in Puri, bringing together lakhs of devotees in a grand celebration of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra. Behind the spectacle was extensive planning and coordinated action by the Odisha Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. From security and crowd management to sanitation, healthcare, drinking water and emergency response, every aspect was closely monitored to ensure a safe and smooth experience. Around 13,000 security personnel, nearly 1,600 sanitation workers, medical teams, volunteers and civic agencies worked round the clock. Despite heavy rainfall, rapid-response teams kept essential services running, while dedicated arrangements ensured devotees received food, drinking water and medical assistance.With nearly 12 lakh devotees attending Ratha Yatra, Odisha once again demonstrated how timeless tradition and efficient governance can come together to deliver a safe, organised and memorable celebration. As Ratha Yatra concludes, the spirit of Jai Jagannath continues to echo across Odisha.
