Ravi Shankar Prasad takes stock of health services by visiting hospital in Patna

Patna (Bihar), Oct 09 (ANI): Union Law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on October 9 visited a government hospital in Patna to take stock of the health services after flood water receded in the city. He inspected the facilities provided by the hospital authorities and also talked to the patients. While speaking to the mediapersons he said, “I’m here to take stock of health services after flood water receded. There were 119 cases of dengue in hospital, of which 16 are still there. Centre and state are working together to control outbreak of diseases.”As the floodwater drained out, the concern of spreading of dengue and other diseases is haunting the state. Authorities are taking measures like spraying of bleaching powder and anti- larval materials to stop the viral diseases. Over 73 people lost their lives after heavy rain in Bihar.
