Riots were common 5 years ago, UP is much safer now: Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Feb 09 (ANI): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath virtually addressing voters of Bareilly district on February 09 said that UP is now recognised for its image in a better environment in view of security. “In 2012-17, about 8 riots took place in Bareilly, in 5 years there was not a single riot in Bareilly. UP used to be identified with riots, today the same UP is recognised for its image in a better environment in view of security,” he added.The seven-phase election in Uttar Pradesh will be held on February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27 and March 3 and 7. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
