Santa procession organised in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Dec 22 (ANI): Ahead of the festival of Christmas, a Santa procession 2019 was organised in Thiruvananthapuram. People of all age participated in the parade and played various instruments. The parade was organised by St. Joseph’s Cathedral. More than 3,000 santas participated in the festivities. Children dressed up as Santa to celebrate the festival. Kids played the tunes of ‘Jingle Bells’. Christmas is celebrated in December 25, to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. The festival is a major cultural and religious event for people around the world.
