Security guard wins hearts by teaching underprivileged in Punjab

Mohali (Punjab), Feb 03 (ANI): A 62-year-old private security guard Nirmal Singh is running school for children of migrant labourers. Nirmal Singh, a resident of Ropar district, educates poor children and also provides them with books, toys, eatables, clothes. Besides guarding, Nirmal teaches students different languages including English, Punjabi, Hindi and mathematics. “It was my childhood dream to educate poor children. It took me around a year to convince parents of these children living in slums. At present, I am teaching around 60 children in Guru Nanak School," said Nirmal Singh.
