Shashi Tharoor questions Centre’s perspective on Afghanistan crisis

New Delhi, July 18 (ANI): Questioning the Centre’s perspective on Afghanistan crisis, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor asked, “Where's that (Afghanistan) country going at the moment and what's India's perspective (on that). Our taxpayers' USD 3 billion is invested in Afghanistan. Is that all going to go down the drain as Taliban coming back to power. These are important questions”. In recent weeks, Afghanistan has witnessed a spike in violence. Taliban have stepped up offensive since the foreign forces began to withdraw from the country in May.
