Sikhs sheltered in Gurdwara in Afghanistan are safe: Manjinder Sirsa

New Delhi, Aug 21 (ANI): Following the fall of Kabul into the hands of the Taliban, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president Manjinder Singh Sirsa on August 21 informed that around 300 Sikhs who took shelter in Gurdwara in Afghanistan are safe. “Around 300 Sikhs who are in the Gurdwara premises in Afghanistan are safe. No incident like kidnapping has occurred with them. Any report regarding such an incident is false,” said Sirsa. Afghanistan government collapsed on Aug 15 with President Ashraf Ghani leaving the country and the Taliban's entry into the capital.
