Sloganeering near Delhi's Jantar Mantar: Six including BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay arrested

New Delhi, Aug 10 (ANI): Six people including Supreme Court lawyer and BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay were arrested by the Delhi Police on Aug 10 in connection with the alleged inflammatory sloganeering near Jantar Mantar. “On August 8, we had lodged an FIR against some people for passing remarks against a particular community. Six people- Ashwani Upadhyay, Vinod Sharma, Deepak Singh, Vinit Kranti, Preet Singh, and Deepak arrested. A video also surfaced, we are examining it,” said Deputy Commissioner of Delhi Police Deepak Yadav.
