Solan building collapse: Around 17 Army personnel, 9 civilians rescued so far, says Dy Commissioner

Solan (Himachal Pradesh), July 15 (ANI): A building collapsed in Himachal Pradesh’s Kumarhatti on Sunday and the rescue operation is underway. While updating to ANI on the incident and rescue operation, Deputy Commissioner of Solan, KC Chaman said, “Around 17 Army personnel and 9 civilians have been rescued so far. 2 Army and 1 civilian casualty reported, 11 Army personnel are still feared trapped and rescue operation is going on at war footing. It's a matter of inquiry as to how the building collapsed. We will conduct an inquiry. This building was constructed in 2009, a floor was added to it recently. An FIR against the owner has already been lodged.”
