Special arrangements for animals at Assam State Zoo to beat winter chill

Guwahati (Assam), Dec 31 (ANI): In view of the chilly weather, special arrangements have been made at the Assam State Zoo Cum Botanical Garden in Guwahati for the animals. Heating facilities have been installed in the enclosure for tigers and lions. Paddy straws have been put in place for deer and other animals. While speaking to ANI, Tejas Mariswamy, Divisional Forest Officer, Assam State Zoo, said, “This year, the weather is as cold as a comparison to last year, so we took precautions for the animals. We have provided many facilities so they can keep themselves warm.”
