SPECIAL CP SANJAY SINGH FLAGS OFF ‘JITO AHIMSA RUN’

New Delhi, April 03 (ANI): On the eve of birth anniversary of Bhagwan Mahavir, Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) organised AHIMSA RUN near Yamuna sports Complex in East Delhi. Special Commissioner of Delhi Police Sanjay Singh and Member of Parliament Dr. Harshvardhan participated as Chief Guest in the event and flagged off the Ahimsa Run. The IIFL JITO Ahimsa Run aims to spread Lord Mahavir's message of peace and non-violence in various locations within India and abroad. The run included three categories - a 10 km and 5 km timed runs, and a 3 km fun run for youth, families and children. On this occasion, youth and children also indulged in a Zumba session. The campaign created a Guinness World Record for the most pledges received in a peace campaign in one week. The IIFL JITO Ahimsa Run will be held across India in over 65 cities and in 23 countries across the world simultaneously.
