Sports bring India, UK together: British High Commissioner

New Delhi, Jan 12 (ANI): While speaking to ANI, British High Commissioner to India, Alex Ellis on January 12 in Delhi lauded the role of sports in the relationship between India and United Kingdom ahead of the Commonwealth Games that will happen this year in Birmingham. “I am delighted to be in Delhi to mark the start of Baton Relay for Commonwealth Games later this year in Birmingham. The relationship between India and United Kingdom is a huge one, sports is fundamental to it. Sports brings countries together,” the High Commissioner to India said.
