Srinagar prepares to contain Omicron variant, sets up quarantine centers

Srinagar (J-K), Dec 07 (ANI): In wake of the outbreak of the COVID Omicron variant, the Jammu and Kashmir Government is fully prepared to address any threat and is taking necessary steps to ensure it does not spread in the Valley. Government has set up new guidelines for international travelers. It is mandatory for every international traveler to undergo through RT-PCR tests at the Srinagar airport and will have to stay at least 24 hours at quarantine center. Also, they tied up with many hotels and convert them into quarantine centers. People appreciated this initiative of Jammu and Kashmir Government and are ready to welcome international tourists with the onset of winter season.
