Supreme Court upholds disqualification of 17 Karnataka rebel MLAs

New Delhi, Nov 13 (ANI): The Supreme Court on November 13 upheld the order of former Karnataka Assembly speaker Ramesh Kumar to disqualify 17 rebel MLAs of the Congress and Janata Dal (Secular). However, the top court also said that the 17 Karnataka MLAs can contest the by-elections scheduled for next month.
