Nepal has ordered a nationwide ban on 26 social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), WhatsApp, and YouTube, for failing to register with the government. Protesters stormed the parliamentary building in Kathmandu against the ban, demanding restoration of access.
