Telangana government distributed 1 crore 28 lakh sheeps to beneficiaries since March 2018

Telangana (Nizamabad), Oct 29 (ANI): Telangana government distributed 1 Crore 28 lakhs of sheep to the beneficiaries since March 2018. Telangana Sheep Distribution scheme is a subsidized sheep distribution scheme in Telangana State, India by the Government of Telangana. The traditional shepherd families will be supported with the supply of (20+1) sheep on 75 per cent subsidy with a total project outlay of Rs 5,000 crores. This scheme gave a quantum jump to the rural economy. This scheme is designed for the upliftment of about 4 lakhs families such as Yadava/Golla/Kuruma.
