May 22, 2024

Kolkata (WB), May 22 (ANI): Amid the ongoing political situation and Lok Sabha election all over the country, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha reacted to the INDIA bloc, possibility of PM Modi becoming Prime Minister again, West Bengal’s current political situation and the recent shocking death of Bangladesh MP in Kolkata on May 22 in Kolkata. Targeting the INDIA bloc, he prompted that first they should keep the alliance intact then it will be correct to decide who will become the PM. Speaking to ANI, the Tripura Chief Minister said, “They formed the INDIA bloc but we didn’t see any alliance in West Bengal. Here Congress, TMC, and CPIM are fighting differently. First, they should keep the alliance intact then it will be correct to decide who will become the PM. Their words don’t hold any weight; they are just saying for the sake of it. By any chance, if they got majority votes then there will be five Prime Ministers in five years. There is no doubt that Narendra Modi will become Prime Minister for the third time.” On Calcutta High Court cancelling all OBC certificates issued in West Bengal after 2010, Manik Saha said, “We have always believed in the court and the historic verdict given by the court had to happen someday. It is the need of the hour. It also shows the decisions taken by the TMC government...” “The culture of West Bengal is not the same anymore…. Bengal has become the home for terror which shouldn’t have happened”, he further added.
