At least 3 people have died, with 265 others missing, following a mudslide in Tibet's Gyirong on Aug 26. China's state broadcaster CCTV reported preliminary tally, citing authorities, as per Reuters. The exact number of casualties is still being verified, CCTV said.These are the first casualty figures provided for the Chinese side of the border. A sudden outburst in the Bhotekoshi River flowing through the Rasuwa District bordering China in Nepal has caused large-scale damage.
