Tokyo Olympics: Ravi Dahiya’s father hoping for gold after wrestler storms into finals

Sonipat (Haryana), Aug 04 (ANI): Celebration broke out in wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya’s native village on August 04 after he stormed into the finals of men’s freestyle 57kg category at the Tokyo Olympics. The wrestler stormed into the finals after defeating Kazakhstan's Nurislam Sanayev in the semi-finals. Speaking to ANI, father Rakesh Dahiya said, “It feels like a festival today. He has made Haryana, our village Nahri and the nation proud. It's indeed a big deal to come so far. We are hoping for the gold medal. Everyone is happy in the village. He will clinch a gold medal for us.”
