From Tragedy to Triumph: Differently-abled Amir Lone’s inspirational journey to Cricket stardom

Anantnag (J&K), January 11 (ANI): Amir Hussain Lone, a 34-year-old differently-abled cricketer hailing from Waghama village in Kashmir, emerged as an inspiring figure in the cricketing world. Amir has been given the responsibility of leading the Para cricket team of Jammu and Kashmir. Despite facing the tragic loss of both arms in a sawmill accident at the tender age of 8, Amir's cricketing talent has earned accolades from cricket legends. Discovered by a teacher in 2013, Amir exhibits remarkable skills in bowling using his feet and batting by positioning the bat between his chin and neck. He even participated in the United Arab Emirates Dubai Premier League held in Sharjah. Acknowledging his extraordinary journey, Mumbai-based film production house 'Pickle Entertainment' announced the production of a biopic on Amir.
