Tripura CM Dr Manik Saha inaugurates Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Panisagar

North Tripura, December 15 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha inaugurated Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) in Panisagar of North Tripura on December 15. Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and MLA Binay Bhushan Das were present for the inauguration. As a farmer’s dominant area, KVK helps the farming community to improve their socio-economic conditions. It also will help to accelerate the agricultural production. Krishi Vigyan Kendra is spread across 12 acres and built at a cost of 1.67 crores. It provides round the clock guidance to farmers’ problems, latest technology to use in farming and Weather forecast. It also provides video conferencing facility to farmers from remote areas. KVK has already conducted 35 trainings to the farmers which widely benefited the farming community. It is all set to conduct 12 IFTs on farming and 13 Frontline Demonstrations for farmers.
