Tripura CM Manik Saha hails Dr BC Roy’s endless contribution on National Doctor’s Day

Agartala (Tripura), July 01, 2025 (ANI): Speaking on National Doctor’s Day, celebrated nationwide on birth anniversary of Physician and former chief minister of West Bengal, Dr BC Roy on July 01. “Dr. BC Roy birth and death happened on same day, there are very rare individuals who had died on the same day on which he had taken birth, so we are celebrating both this day. He had participated in Mahatma Gandhi Satyagraha protest, been Vice Chancellor of Calcutta University, Mayor of Calcutta Municipality. He was friend and physician of Gandhi ji. He used to detect the problem just by looking at the face of patient,” said CM Manik Saha.
