Tripura CM Manik Saha inaugurates 45 Deep Tube Wells and 27 Iron Removal Plants in Agartala

Agartala (Tripura), Nov 18, 2025 (ANI): In a significant step toward improving the quality of drinking water in urban areas, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated 45 Deep Tube Wells and 27 Iron Removal Plants under AMRUT 2.0 project in Agartala on Nov 18. This initiative has connected 16,224 households to safe drinking water through a 206-km pipeline network, ensuring stronger and more reliable urban water services. AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder and Senior officials from the Urban Development Department, AMC representatives, engineers, and eminent persons were present at the event.
