Tripura Focuses on Sports Development

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, the Tripura government is working to promote sports and nurture young talent. Through better coaching, the Chief Minister's Sports Development Scheme, Tripura State Games and Grassroots Talent Hunt, aspiring athletes are receiving training, sports equipment and financial assistance. With inspiration from Olympian Dipa Karmakar, Tripura aims to help young players reach national and international levels.
