Unemployment rate highest in 40 years: Rahul Gandhi targets Modi govt over jobs

Mahendragarh (Haryana), Oct 18 (ANI): Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on October 18 held a public rally in Haryana’s Mahendragarh. While addressing the gathering, he said that unemployment rate in the country is highest since 40 years. “This is not the case of one state, you go in any state and ask the youth that what they do, they say nothing there is no work. Go to small shopkeeper, small businessmen and middle size businessmen who are the backbone of the country and ask them about their work they say that their work is ruined because of GST and demonetisation,” said Gandhi. Assembly Elections will be held in Maharashtra and Haryana on October 21. Results will be announced three days later.
