New Delhi, November 1st (ANI): Beautifully decorated with lights in the faint atmosphere of incense, the Dargah of Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki in New Delhi is an epicentre of religious harmony. Regarded as one of the oldest dargahs in the city, the Dargah gives out loud the message of peace, kindness and brotherhood. To perpetuate his teachings of oneness and communal harmony, the 810th Urs of the Sufi saint was recently organised at the shrine that was attended by people of different faiths. Devotees say that they experience a lot of peace here and the saint fulfils all their wishes. Born in 1173 in a small town called Osh in Kyrgyzstan, Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki was a Muslim Sufi mystic and the disciple and spiritual successor of Moinuddin Chisti. He played a major role in establishing the Chisti order in Delhi as earlier it was confined to Ajmer and Nagaur. Well recognised for spreading the message of love and brotherhood, the saint is revered by the people of all communities. For the last several years, the Dargah of Qutbuddin Bakhtiar Kaki has been playing a key role in strengthening secularism and promoting harmony amongst all religions.
