Urs of Sufi saint Ghulam Nabi Khan celebrated in J-K's Anantnag

Anantnag (J-K), Feb 02 (ANI): People celebrated annual ‘Urs’ or the festival of the famous Sufi saint Ghulam Nabi Khan, also known as Ibn Fida in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir following the COVID-19 protocols. Devotees from different parts of the Valley offered prayers at the shrine. The district administration of Anantnag issued Covid guidelines, under which this festival or Urs was observed. devotees paid obeisance at shrine and prayed for peace and prosperity of the country and the Valley. Kashmir Valley has been the abode of Sufi saints since centuries. Khan Ghulam Nabi Ibn Fida played a tremendous role to spread the Islam with peace, love and humanity in Kashmir.
