Uttarakhand Mahila Congress demands 20 pc reservation for women in upcoming polls

Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Jan 15 (ANI): Ahead of the Assembly elections in Uttarakhand, State Mahila Congress president Sarita Arya on January 15 demanded 20 per cent reservation for women in the upcoming polls. “We got hope from 'Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon' slogan. So we also demanded 20 pc tickets for women in state polls. But some women workers are telling me that if you are not able to get ticket for yourself, then how will you get ticket for us,” she added.
